16.09.2020 -Spellings Homework

This week we are learning spelling words ending with an /zhuh/ sound spelt with ‘sure’.

treasure  measure  pleasure  enclosure  closure

leisure  exposure  pressure  composure  fissure

Please practice these words - no more than 20 mins a day.

Remember the different ways we practice our spellings - Rainbow writing, Pyramid words, Drawing the shape of the word, Playing a guessing game.

If you need any help - please ask your teacher.

You will be tested on your spellings every Monday and given new spellings and the rule on the same day in your lesson to learn for the next week.

Extra spellings practice:

The children can practice these in any way they like (shape writing, bubble writing, multicoloured writing, pyramid writing, writing acrostic poems, writing silly sentences).
