Wordsworth Primary and Nursery school is right in the heart of our local community with 670 pupils across our 22 classes and Nursery. We are passionate about building a school that unites, with 58 different languages spoken.

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 35 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 32 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.


ROLE:  Welfare Officer

HOURS: 25 Hours per week, Monday – Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm Term time only

SALARY: Grade 6 Actual Salary £15,455.06 - £16,710.22

INTERVIEW DATE: Thursday 11th January 2024

ROLE:  Teaching Assistant (This role is initially to work in Early Years/Year 1 to support in one of our classes)

HOURS: 32.5 Hours 8.30-3.30 (to include ½ hour unpaid lunch break, and working as a member of the play team during the lunchtime session) Term time only

SALARY: Grade 6 Actual Salary £20,091.59 - £21,723.29

CLOSING DATE:  Thursday 7th December 2023 – 12 noon

INTERVIEW DATE: Thursday 14th December 2023

START DATE: Spring Term
