Wordsworth Primary and Nursery school is right in the heart of our local community with 670 pupils across our 22 classes and Nursery. We are passionate about building a school that unites, with 58 different languages spoken.

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 35 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 32 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.

ROLE:  Finance Officer

HOURS: 20 hours to be worked across five days (Monday – Friday) Term time + 1 week

SALARY: Grade 6 Actual Salary £13,175.04- £13,697.14

CLOSING DATE:  Friday 4 October 12 noon 2024

INTERVIEW DATE: Friday 11 October 2024

START DATE: To be confirmed

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and professional individual to support the Operations Manager with the effective delivery of the school’s financial processes and some administration of the support functions to ensure the efficient running of the school.

Responsibilities will include processing orders for goods and services, payment of invoices, receiving and reconciling payments in respect of school activities, and dealing with & responding to a variety of contact from external sources, ensuring clear precise & accurate information.

The successful candidate will ideally have a financial background and experience of working in a school would be an advantage.
