Friday 20th January
Here's what we've been up to this week.
This week we have been learning about the tectonic plates that form the Earth's crust. Also, we made papier mache volcanoes and we are going to explode them soon! Our parents came into class to help us make them on Monday. We can't wait to paint them!
In English we made exciting information leaflets about Volcanoes that we can give to Year 2 and our parents when they visit our volcano exhibition later this term. We have also been designing a volcano painting in Art with Mrs O'Dell and Mr Day.
In Maths we have been solving multiplication questions using hundred squares, empty number lines and chunking! We're getting very good!
On Thursday we learned how to say how old we are in French, and on Friday we played tunes on chime bars.
What a great week! Happy Friday! :)
