Learning From Home
Welcome to Learning from Home. All of the children in Year 6 have worked incredibly hard so far this year and have made excellent progress. We are confident that the children will be able to continue the excellent learning attitude they have developed whilst they are learning from home.
We will be posting activities and tasks suited to the Year 6 curriculum on a regular basis during the time that the school is closed. This is where you will find ideas for some of the many activities you and your child could complete during this time, and it is up to them what activities they choose.
You can contact the Year 6 Teachers through Class Dojo, and we would love to see some examples of the work you have been doing. You have been given (or sent) an individual QR code to log in - see below for details. We will be able to reward you with house points for your hard work!
The children have also brought home their maths homework book, as well as their '10 Minute Booster' reading and maths books, which are perfect for some extra home revision during this time.
Please see below for a guide to how you could structure your learning from home, and on the right hand side of this page for specific activities for individual subjects that the children could do. Remember, even simple things like reading their book, or practising their times tables will make a huge difference!
