How we teach Computing at Wordsworth Primary School

We use strong subject knowledge, a wide range of digital equipment and software to enhance the computing knowledge and practical skills of our pupils. This allows them to solve computing problems and become more familiar with a range of real world technologies.

What you will see in classrooms:

• Our pupils learn to code throughout the school using Coding Caterpillars, Beebots, Discovery Education and Scratch.
• Pupils use different Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Docs, Slides and Sheets, to display what they have learnt within our subjects.
• Pupils confidently use a variety of technology devices to access different learning opportunities and advance their learning.
