Wordsworth Primary and Nursery school is right in the heart of our local community with 670 pupils across our 22 classes and Nursery. We are passionate about building a school that unites, with 58 different languages spoken.

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 35 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 32 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.

ROLE: Class Teacher
HOURS: Full Time
SALARY: M3 to UPS1
CLOSING DATE: Friday 10th May 2024 12 noon (This may close early if we successfully appoint prior to this date)
INTERVIEW DATE: To be arranged on an individual basis
START DATE: 1st September 2024
ROLE: Class Teacher (this role would be suitable for an ECT and would include our successful 3 week pre start induction programme)
HOURS: Full Time
SALARY: Main Scale
CLOSING DATE: Monday 10th June 2024 12 noon (This may close early if we successfully appoint prior to this date)
INTERVIEW DATE: To be arranged on an individual basis
START DATE: 1st September 2024
ROLE: Teaching Assistant (This role may interest someone with a degree that would like to become a teacher through the Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship or a qualified teacher looking to return to the classroom)
HOURS: 32.5 Hours 8.30-3.30 (to include ½ hour unpaid lunch break, and working as a member of the play team during the lunchtime session) Term time only
SALARY: Grade 6 Actual Salary £20,091.59 - £21,723.29
